Skyrim sseedit esl limit bug
I have several follower/companion mods and NPC mods installed and am wondering if I can flag them as ESLs? You run the xedit script "Find ESP plugins which could be turned into ESL" to find out which mods are even applicable to be flagged. When examining a plugin, how can you tell how many records it contains But most mods that add new cells with most likely be too big to be flagged anyway. What you have to avoid are ESL plugins that create a new cell (so one that didn't exist in vanilla Skyrim), which is then overwritten by another mod, as that will prevent the temporary references from loading, for some reason. It's stipulated to avoid ESL-flagging any plugins that contain an interior cell.

No, you actually have to compact the mod to do that, which you only need to do if the mod cannot be flagged directly. Are there any specific examples of patch-types that should be avoided for flagging (beyond GamerPoets examples time-index 9:59)? Seems like patches are a great contender for ESL-flagging. If I ESL-flag a plugin in 圎dit, then determine that doing so has caused a problem and I want to revert it back to it's original state, is it a simple matter of 'un-ticking' the ESL flag and re-saving the plugin (in 圎dit)? Also, will doing this potentially negatively impact/corrupt my game save(s)? I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember reading to avoid ESL-flagging any plugin with "facegen" (or something like that) records? I have several follower/companion mods and NPC mods installed and am wondering if I can flag them as ESLs? When examining a plugin, how can you tell how many records it contains (or more importantly if it exceeds the 2048 record limit)? (video time index 2:28) So in 圎dit, if I open up a plugin and see "Cell" listed, how can I tell if it's an "Interior" Cell (vs 'exterior')? See the video above, time index 5:14 for an example.ĮSL-flagged plugins are limited to "2048 new records".
Is ESL-flagging a plugin considered "Compacting", or is that term for actually converting an ESP into an ESL? Referencing GamerPoets 圎dit/ESL Video, and in general, I have a few further questions: I've already successfully flagged several ESPs as ESLs (ESPLs) using SSEEdit.
